The Ondo State Command said it had arrested no fewer than 100 men who were allegedly involved in various forms of criminal activities across the 18 local government areas of the state.
According to the Command, the suspected criminals are allegedly involved in crimes such as murder, kidnapping, armed robbery, cultism, unlawful possession of substances suspected to be hard drugs, and theft, among others.
The state Commissioner of Police Mr Adebowale Lawal, who made this known in a statement on Sunday, said the arrests were made possible through the efforts of the men of the command and the cooperation of the residents of the state, who supplied the command with the right information.

While commending the people of the state for their cooperation and timely information in the fight against crime, Lawal said the command would continue to work tirelessly in synergy with other security agencies to make Ondo State unsafe for criminals but safe for law-abiding citizens.
