WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Nebraska State Trooper uncovered 130 pounds of suspected methamphetamine during a traffic stop on Interstate 80.
The Nebraska State Patrol says it happened around 6:45 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 80 on the southwestern edge of Omaha in the suburb of Papillion.

The trooper had stopped a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old Smyrna, Georgia woman, and during the traffic stop, became suspicious of criminal activity, according to the NSP.
A K9 with the Papillion Police Department was brought to the traffic stop to assist with the investigation. The patrol says the dog indicated the odor of a controlled substance coming from the car.

A search of the vehicle uncovered several trash bags in the trunk, containing suspected methamphetamine weighing approximately 130 pounds. The woman was booked into the Sarpy County Jail on a charge of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
