A 14-year-old girl has been missing for nearly 2 weeks now after she was last seen walking down a California street on Halloween.

Jade Duran “was last seen walking in the 8500 block of Sylmar Avenue in Panorama City” at about 3 p.m. local time on Friday, Oct. 31, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), which was published on Monday, Nov. 10.

Police said the teen “mainly lives in Orange County,” but “might be visiting cities in Orange County and other counties in southern Los Angeles.”

Duran is described by police as a Hispanic girl with brown hair and brown eyes who is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 140 lbs.

The teen was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants — and she was carrying a pink backpack when she disappeared.

CW affiliate KTLA reported that family members, who are concerned for her well-being and haven’t heard from her since she disappearance, have made no mention about any health or mental conditions that may have played a factor.

Additional information has not been made publicly available.

Anyone with information about Duran’s whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Summey with the Mission Division at (818) 838-9890. Calls made during non-business hours or on weekends should be made to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (1-877-527-3247).
