Another week, another Aldi opening in Florida. Two, in fact.
The no-frills discount grocery chain famous for low prices, store-brand goods, and a complete lack of coupons, in-store delis, bakeries, pharmacies, loyalty programs, baggers or Muzak is opening two more Florida locations on Thursday, Oct. 9, in Jacksonville and New Port Richey, according to the company’s Coming Soon page.
Both grand openings will debut with a ribbon-cutting ceremony planned for 8:45 a.m., gift bags and gift cards for the first 100 customers and the chance through the weekend to win a sweepstakes for a $500 Aldi gift card.

Aldi has at least 17 more Florida locations in progress with plans to open 225 new stores in 2025. the most they’ve ever opened in a single year, and 800 by the end of 2028.
