Attendees got to shop from market vendors and join in on family-friendly activities. “It’s really nice to be here with other vendors and other business owners who really have, like a passion or you know, at least an appreciation for prickly pear, which, ya know, it grows around this part of town. So you know, I think that it would be really great if more people learned how to utilize it since it’s very sustainable,” says business owner Elizabeth McKenzie.
The event offered cooking demos, workshops, and arts and crafts for both adults and kids, making it another great year for this unique treat paradise.
