The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has urged leaders across the country to prioritise the welfare of Nigerians as the nation navigates the current economic reforms under the Renewed Hope agenda of the Federal Government.
He spoke at the centenary edition of the Night of Divine Experience (NODE 7.0) held at the New Seraph Prayer City, Sapade, Ode-Remo, Ogun State.
Adegbite stressed that leaders must pursue peace, justice, equality, and development.
He prayed for God’s guidance, protection, and wisdom for the country’s leaders, urging them to show true commitment to serving the people.
“As the Executive Secretary of NCPC, Bishop Adegbite has been instrumental in promoting Christian pilgrimages and fostering peace and unity in Nigeria,” a statement from the organisers of the event noted.
Founder of The New Seraph Evangelical Ministries, Iya Aladura General, Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye, also admonished leaders to embrace people-centred policies that would restore economic prosperity.
She praised gthe overnment’s efforts on infrastructure renewal but urged states to invest more in agriculture for food security and support small and medium enterprises with soft loans to boost employment and growth.
