A man and woman, who put a new meaning to crime of passion, have been arrested on allegations of burglarizing an Arizona restaurant and having sex in the business once it was closed for the night.
In a release shared with PEOPLE on Friday, Nov. 21, a spokesperson for the Scottsdale Police Department identified 30-year-old Corrisa K. Sucanick and 39-year-old Brian H. Morrow as suspects in the robbery of the Mon Cheri Restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale in the early morning hours of Oct. 25, 2025.
Sucanick and Morrow were identified, in part, from surveillance footage from inside the restaurant, which led to tips from the community, police said.
Video shared by 12NEWS KPNX showed the pair casing the inside of the establishment after hours.
The news station previously interviewed the owners of Mon Cheri Restaurant, who claimed their property was ransacked and around $450 was stolen from the cash register during the robbery turned rendezvous.
“They violated our roses, and we’re just not okay with that,” owner Lexi Kalikin told a reporter from the local news station while standing next to a large, decorative floral display.
Kalikin claimed the suspects did not use facial coverings to conceal their identity in at least one of the entrances of her business.
Sucanick was found and arrested on Nov. 3, while authorities apprehended Morrow at a Motel 6 in Phoenix the following day. They both were arrested without incident and booked into the Maricopa County Jail, police said.

A spokesperson for the Scottsdale Police Department told PEOPLE Sucanick was booked on one charge of 3rd degree burglary, and Morrow was booked on charges of 3rd degree burglary and possession of burglary tools.
“Neither suspect was booked for nor are they currently facing any charges for the ‘amorous activities’ caught on surveillance video, as it does not meet the criteria for criminal charges,” police told PEOPLE.
