The only daughter of the late Texas oil heiress Caroline Rose Hunt has bought a house on the far North End of Palm Beach for $7.5 million, the deed shows.
Laurie Sands Harrison purchased 145 Seagate Road near the Sailfish Club of Florida, according to the deed recorded by the Palm Beach County Clerk’s office.
Harrison is listed on the document with the Dallas address of Rosewood Corp., a privately owned investments firm owned by the Caroline Hunt Trust Estate, the company’s website shows. Hunt, who died in 2018, was the daughter of the late oilman H.L. Hunt and at one time the wealthiest woman in America. In 2024, Forbes estimated the extended Hunt family’s net worth at $24.8 billion.
The house on Seagate Road was sold by Khooshe Adibsamii Aiken, as trustee of a living trust in her name, the deed recorded Aug. 29 shows.

Built in 1950, the one-story house has three bedrooms and 2,549 square feet of living space, inside and out. On a quarter-acre lot, the house has a backyard with a 12-foot by-30-foot swimming pool.
Caroline Hunt, a noted entrepreneur and philanthropist, founded and later sold Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. Among her real estate projects in the 1980s, she built The Crescent, a prominent hotel, office and retail development designed by the late architect Philip Johnson near downtown Dallas. The company’s portfolio at one time also included the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek hotel in Dallas and the Hotel Bel-Aire in Los Angeles.
Today Rosewood Corp.’s private-equity initiatives include investments in the real estate, natural resources, manufacturing and industrial sectors, its website says.
Sands’ charitable work includes longtime support of the Dallas Children’s Theater, according to published reports. Sands’ daughter, Hassie Harrison Bingham, was among the cast of the popular television show “Yellowstone,” which ended its five-year run in 2024 on the Paramount network.
The Palm Beach house that just changed hands stands on a quarter-acre lot. Aiken’s ownership included access to the neighborhood beach cabana down the street.
Aiken is a former member of the town’s Recreation Advisory Commission.
Aiken and her then-husband  — businessman Andrew Aiken, a former president and CEO of the Palm Beach Zoo — had paid a recorded $320,000 for the house in 1998. The house was deeded to Khooshe Akinin in 2015 as part of the couple’s divorce settlement, property records show.
Because the recent sale of the property closed off market, it’s unclear if any real estate agents were involved.
