Sept. 17 (UPI) — A cow named Miss Big Moo is safely back in her Colorado pasture after firefighters hoisted her out of a hip-deep pit of mud.
The Poudre Fire Authority said multiple crews responded to the property on Grey Rock Drive, north of Fort Collins, when a call came in for a large animal rescue.
“Crews arrived on a scene to find one cow, Miss Big Moo, stuck up to her hips in mud,” fire officials wrote on social media.
The cow was outfitted with rescue straps and hoisted out of the mud with help from an Import Towing truck.
The cow was examined by a veterinarian and returned to her pasture safely.
