Costco is recalling a wine sold in several states, including Ohio, over concerns that the bottle may shatter. It comes on the heels of the warehouse retailer recalling its Dubai chocolate.
According to a letter the warehouse club sent to members, unopened bottles of its Kirkland Signature Prosecco Valdobbiadene have a risk of shattering, even when not handled or in use. The sparkling wine was sold between April 25, 2025, and Aug. 26, 2025, in a dozen states, including Ohio.
Costco recommends disposing of the unopened bottles. Members are entitled to a full refund of the purchase price.
