CVS taking over prescription files for these Oregon Rite Aid locations

CVS has purchased more than a dozen Rite Aid stores in Oregon following the drug store chain’s announcement of a nationwide closure.

After filing for a second bankruptcy in May, Rite Aid announced it would be closing all of its stores.

That same month, retail pharmacy chain CVS announced it had been approved for bids on 64 Rite Aid stores in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, and prescription files from Rite Aid pharmacies across 15 states.

Here’s what to know about CVS store openings at former Rite Aid stores.

When will CVS stores begin opening in Oregon?

CVS stores are scheduled to open at former Rite Aid locations in Oregon between August and the end of September.
