Donald Trump turned his fury on one of his most loyal media allies on Sunday as he slammed Fox News after it dared to interview a Democratic senator.
The president, whose administration has in recent weeks ramped up its attacks on people and networks who cover him critically, ranted on his Truth Social platform after Fox’s Peter Doocy spoke with Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) about the ongoing government shutdown.
“Why is Fox News and Peter Doocy putting on Democrat Senator Mark Kelly to talk about, totally unabated or challenged, healthcare?” Trump fumed.

Trump accused the conservative channel, whose prime-time hosts Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham and Jesse Watters frequently and openly stump for him, of “FAKE SPIN” that hurts Republicans.
“It’s hard to believe we win,” he wrote, warning things “will be very unfair” for Republicans “in the future when they don’t have ‘TRUMP’ to fight for them. Therefore, we should fix it, NOW!”
The president urged the network to “either get on board or get off board, NOW,” claiming Fox benefits from his popularity but “spins it in the Democrats’ direction.” He also whined that the outlet refuses to highlight positive polls about him. “Republicans are so tired of this fight,” Trump added, accusing Fox of trying to be “politically correct.”
