Free ICT Training for Enugu Indigenes at S.Mobile Tech Insti

The S.Mobile Tech Institute on Tuesday unveiled a one-month free training programme on cutting-edge ICT applications for Enugu State indigenes.

The programme institute’s founder and CEO, Dr. Kingsley Ifeanyi Adonu, said the traingaims to empower participants with skills needed to thrive in the digital economy.

According to Adonu, the mission is to provide knowledge that offers not just job opportunities but also the toolkit for self-employment and entrepreneurship.

He emphasized that technology has the power to unlock boundless opportunities for individuals and nations.

“We do not just open a building; we open a gateway-a gateway to the future, to innovation, and to boundless opportunities for our people and our nation,” said Dr. Adonu.

“The mission of S.Mobile Tech Institute is to empower you with knowledge that provides not just job opportunities, but also the toolkit for self-employment and entrepreneurship,” he added.

Dr.Adonu expressed gratitude to the Government of Enugu State for creating an enabling environment for innovation to thrive.

He noted that the S.Mobile Tech Institute has engaged expert facilitators to guide participants through hands-on training sessions. The facilitators will share their knowledge and experience to ensure that participants gain practical skills and insights.

The training program is designed to enhance career prospects and empower participants to contribute to the growth and development of their communities and the nation.

Dr.Adonu called on participants to be proactive, ask questions, and engage with facilitators and peers.

The institute’s initiative is part of a broader effort to promote digital literacy and skills development in Enugu State.

The keynote speaker, Sir Cyprian Okoro, described the launch as a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to empower Enugu State indigenes.

He urged participants to take full advantage of the opportunity and use the skills and knowledge gained to drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and positive change.

“Today marks a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to empower Enugu State indigenes with the skills needed to thrive in the digital economy,” said Sir Cyprian OkeyOkoro, PhD.

“Let us work together to build a brighter future for ourselves, our families, and our community,” he emphasized.

The training program covers various ICT packages, including AI & Robotics, Websites & Mobile App Development, Graphics & Coding, Software Development, Data Analysis, Social Media Monetization, Fintech& E-Commerce, Cybersecurity, Cryptocurrency, and Blockchain Technology.

The launch of the training program was attended by distinguished guests, including government officials, content creators, and security personnel.
