All Progressives Congress Leader in AbohMbaise community in Imo state, Chief Charles Ogu, has urged members of the APC in the community to remain resolute and committed to the party, despite the ongoing talks about a coalition involving the African Democratic Congress in Nigeria.

Ogu who made this call on Monday while addressing party stakeholders and grassroots mobilisers in Aboh Mbaise, stated that the APC remains the most viable political platform for the actualization of the aspirations of the people of Imo State and Nigeria at large.

The meeting compromising the wards in Nguru bloc made up Nguru Nwenkwo, Nguru Nweke, and Nguru Ahiato in Aboh Mbaise LGA of Imo State, where former Governor Emeka Ihedioha and other prominent politicians hail from, have been the focus of intense political manoeuvring aimed at wooing Mbaise into the ADC.

The high point of the occasion was the formal welcoming of the decampees.

The gathering, which was well attended by traditional rulers, party stakeholders, security agencies, men, women, and youths numbering over 100, saw all present reaffirming their loyalty to the APC and their support for the government of Senator Hope Uzodimma.

Ogu said, “The APC is our home and our collective future is brighter within its fold. Let no political coalition or propaganda make you doubt our direction”.

In her speech on behalf of the other decampees, Hon. Mrs. ChinyereChukwuocha assured of their loyalty and commitment to fully mobilize more people to support Uzodimma led government while contributing the quota to the growth and continuous development of APC.
