In-N-Out Burger is continuing its expansion in Colorado, with plans firming up for it to sling more double-doubles and animal fries between Boulder and Denver.
The California-based chain, which is adding a second headquarters in Tennessee, has announced a new location in Longmont is “coming soon” on the company’s website. It is one of five new locations listed around the country, along with one restaurant in California and three in Tennessee.
The company did not provide firm dates for the openings to USA TODAY, which first reported the planned wave of openings.
In-N-Out opened its first Colorado location in 2020 and has grown along the Front Range steadily since. It has followed a consistent pattern of locating close to highways or major roads and large retail projects.
Where will Colorado’s next In-N-Out be located?
In-N-Out’s newest Colorado location will be at 255 Ken Pratt Blvd., Longmont. It will be the 14th in the state, joining outposts in Arvada, Aurora, Brighton, Castle Rock, Colorado Springs, Denver, Lakewood, Lone Tree, Loveland, Parker and Thornton. The Brighton location was the most recent to open.
Where could In-N-Out open after Longmont?
In-N-Out purchased a 1.63-acre parcel in Timnath’s Ladera development for $2.4 million on Sept. 9, according to Ladera and Larimer County property records. The active construction process for one of the chain’s restaurants is about eight months, although In-N-Out declined to share a timeline of the planned 3,887-square-foot drive-thru restaurant with the Coloradoan.
