WISCONSIN RAPIDS â The combination KFC/Taco Bell in Wisconsin Rapids is temporarily closed.
After signs on the restaurant’s doors told guests this week the KFC and Taco Bell were closed in Wisconsin Rapids due to âshort staff,â a Daily Tribune reporter connected with Yum! Brands, the owner of both restaurants for more details.
A KFC spokesperson told the reporter Aug. 8 the Wisconsin Rapids location is temporarily closed because of a staffing shortage but the company does intend to reopen the restaurant.
âThe franchisee is working to hire and train as quickly as possible, so it can reopen and provide a great customer experience,â the spokesperson said.
Signs on the KFC/Taco Bell doors tell guests the site is currently closed due to a staffing shortage at 1750 Eighth St. S. in Wisconsin Rapids.
According to Daily Tribune reports at the time, the combination of KFC and Taco Bell has been serving Wisconsin Rapids at 1750 Eighth St. S. since 1999. KFC had previously been operating at 1040 Eighth St. S. The KFC then closed for three weeks in August 1999 as the brand reopened with Taco Bell further south along Eighth Street at its current location.
