KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Legends Outlets in Kansas City, Kansas has been sold.
The company Tanger announced on Tuesday it is buying the outdoor shopping center for about $130 million, using available liquidity and the assumption of a $115 million CMBS loan that matures in November 2027.

Tanger said it will rename the shopping center Tanger Kansas City at Legends.
“We look forward to enhancing the center’s productivity through Tanger’s proven leasing, operating and marketing platforms,” Tanger President and CEO Stephen Yalof said in a news release.
Legends is 93% occupied right now and features more than 100 stores, restaurants and entertainment venues. It is part of the larger Village West shopping area.

The shopping center in western Wyandotte County has been around since 2006.
Tanger owns nearly 40 outlets in North America.
