The FBI is investigating this as an act of targeted violence and has executed multiple search warrants. Michigan’s governor cautioned the public to be patient as investigators try to figure out a motive for the attack.
Back here at home, Brandon Bezzant, president of the St. Louis Missouri Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Saints, says he and others are sending prayers and support to their brothers and sisters in Michigan.
“We mourn with and pray for those who are impacted by the events yesterday in Michigan, as we mourn with and pray for those who have been impacted by other events and violence in and around their houses of worship,” Bezzant said.
