HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — A High Point man is facing even more charges in connection with a sexual assault case involving a teenager who was reported missing in Pennsylvania last year, according to a press release from the High Point Police Department.
On Monday, June 16, 2025, just after 4 p.m., officers responded to a house on Treyburn Lane and found a 15-year-old girl who had been reported missing nearly a year ago.
Joseph Rossomando, 32, of High Point, was found with child sex abuse material and was taken into custody. He was charged with the following:

Seven counts of statutory sex offense with a child less than 15

Seven counts of statutory rape of a child less than 15

Felony human trafficking of a child victim

Felony sexual servitude of a child victim

Felony second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor
-
Felony first-degree kidnapping

Contributing to the delinquency of a minor
He was given no bond.
In July, the HPPD charged Rossomando with the following:

Four counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor

Two counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor
He was given a $500,000 bond.
On Monday, Rossomando was charged with six counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of felony dissemination of obscene images to a minor under the age of 16, bringing his total charges to nearly 30.
He was given no bond for the new charges and remains in the Guilford County Jail in High Point.
