JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. – Missouri State Representative Ken Waller, who represented part of Jefferson County at the capitol, died over the weekend.
Waller was 63. A cause of death was not made available at the time of this writing.
“Claudia and I are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Representative Ken Waller. The people of the 114th District and all of Missouri have lost a dedicated public servant and a true friend to his community,” Governor Mike Kehoe said in a statement. “Ken was a man of faith, family, and integrity, and his service reflected those values. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”

Waller was first elected to the Missouri House in November 2022 and re-elected in November 2024, winning handily in both races.
Prior to winning state office, Waller served as Jefferson County Treasurer and eventually became the county’s first County Executive in 2010. After two terms, he became county clerk in 2018.
According to a biography on the Missouri House website, Waller is survived by his wife, three children, and one grandchild.
