Michael Paul Brown, the suspect accused by police of killing four people by opening fire inside a Montana bar has been taken into custody, according to reports by KRTV, KTVH and KPAX.

The U.S. Marshals Service previously offered a reward of $7,500 for any information that led to the arrest or capture of the 45-year-old Brown.

Authorities allege Brown fatally shot a bartender and three patrons inside The Owl Bar in Anaconda, Mont., around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, PEOPLE previously reported.

He then allegedly fled the scene wearing only a pair of black shorts or underwear, as seen in a photo later shared by the Montana Department of Justice on Facebook.

Lee Johnson with the Montana Department of Justice previously said that authorities “located the white Ford F-150 that Brown fled the scene in,” though Brown was not found in or around the vehicle.

At a press conference on Sunday, Aug. 3, Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen called Brown “a dangerous individual who has committed an absolutely heinous crime against this community and these victims.”
