The Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations has elected new executives to run the affairs of the organisation for the next two years.
The election took place during the 2025 Annual General Meeting held on Thursday at the Institute of International Relations, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Those elected are: Chairman, Samuel Ayetutu; Vice Chairman, Eniola Mayowa; Secretary, Samuel Adeyemi; Assistant Secretary, Rita Ali-Nock; Public Relations Officer, Oguchukwu Okeke; Financial Secretary, Bassey Nta; Treasurer, Olabamiji Adeleye; Welfare Officer, Funmilola Akintola; and Ex-Officio (Internal Auditors), Segun McMedal and Comfort Nwankwo.
The executives’ oath of office was administered by the NIPR Registrar, Uzoma Onyegbadue.
Speaking after his inauguration, Ayetutu thanked members for the confidence reposed in him, promising to unite members and enhance the chapter’s visibility.
“When I talk about uniting the chapter, I am talking about different sections within Lagos NIPR coming together to work for the chapter’s progress.
“We also want to make sure that by the end of the two-year tenure, Lagos NIPR would have become a household name,” he said.
