Demonstrations are being planned across the state this weekend as the second round of No Kings protests gets underway.
The protests, most of which are planned for Saturday, Oct. 18, are critical of President Donald Trump and his administration. The first No Kings protests in June saw millions of people speak out against deportation policies and federal funding cuts, among other issues. The date of June 14 was chosen to counter Trump’s birthday celebration and military parade.
