The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier-General Olakunle Nafiu, has called on the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corps Members to embrace the challenges of the future with courage and vision, as he emphasised the importance of innovation, resilience, and a commitment to driving positive change.

He also congratulated members of the corps members on the successful completion of their one-year mandatory national service.

Nafiu’s congratulatory message was conveyed in a statement shared via the official X handle of the NYSC on Thursday.

PUNCH Online reports that the DG’s message comes as thousands of corps members across the country conclude their service year, following months of community development efforts, primary assignments, and nation-building projects in various sectors.

The DG’s statement read, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corps Members as they celebrate the successful completion of their mandatory service year,” the statement read.

“Your hard work and commitment to building a new Nigeria have not gone unnoticed. As you step into the future, I urge you to embrace the challenges that lie ahead. Rise to the occasion and become the leaders our nation truly needs.

“Be open to change, lead with confidence and innovative ideas. Go forth and represent the NYSC as its proud ambassadors.”
