The Ohio State University evacuated two buildings after a suspicious package was found, the university said on social media.
At 12:30 p.m., Ohio State University Emergency Management wrote in a post on X that the Caldwell Lab building was being evacuated “as a precaution” while police investigated a suspicious package.

A few minutes later, emergency management said the nearby journalism building was also being evacuated because it is close to the lab building.

The university has not released any further details about the package or its contents.
