The Federal Government has announced a one-week extension to the closing date for the ongoing recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services.
The recruitment portal, which was initially scheduled to close on Monday, August 4, 2025, will now remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025.
According to a statement by the Secretary to the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board, Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (retd.), the extension is intended to allow more applicants to apply for positions in the paramilitary services and the board.
The statement read, “The Board wishes to notify the general public that the closing date for application for its ongoing recruitment exercise has been extended by one week.
“The recruitment portal, which was initially set to close on Monday, 4th August, 2025, will now remain open until Monday, 11th August, 2025.
“This extension is geared towards providing additional opportunity for applicants willing to be enlisted into any of the Paramilitary Services as well as the Board.”
The authentic portal address for registration remains htpps://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng , as the board reiterates that its recruitment process is free, and it remains committed to ensuring a fair and transparent process.
