KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was found dead at a Kansas City, Kansas park on Sunday evening.
Deputies were dispatched to Northrup Park for a welfare check. They arrived at the scene at 5:45 p.m. and found an unresponsive Hispanic male.

Life-saving measures were performed, but the man was pronounced dead. It is unclear what the cause of death is or the details surrounding it.
It is currently being investigated as a death investigation.
