A retired Diet Coke flavor was slated to make a return to Arizona store shelves in early October, according to the Coca-Cola Company.
Diet Coke Lime will make a limited time return to grocery stores, convenience stores and retailers across the U.S., equipped with “retro” themed packaging, according to the Coca-Cola website.
The product was set to arrive at Fry’s Food Stores the week of Oct. 6, according to Pam Giannonatti, spokesperson for the Arizona-based grocery store.
It had been seven years since Diet Coke Lime was discontinued at retailers, according to NBC Bay Area.
“It’s the same iconic diet soda you know and love, with a bold citrusy kick that hits just right,” read the Coke website.
It joined a lineup of regular Diet Coke and a caffeine-free variant, according to the Coke website.
Earlier this year, Diet Coke Cherry also made a limited return, but only to Kroger brand stores, according to USA TODAY.
Diet Coke Lime would be sold individually in 20 fluid ounce plastic bottles, and in 12-packs of 12 fluid ounce cans, according to the website.
