The Slaughter Road Interchange, located in the Trans Amadi industrial hub of Port Harcourt, is a key corridor that hosts numerous industrial facilities, warehouses, and depots.
Heavy-duty trucks, oil and gas logistics, and commercial vehicles frequently ply the route, making it one of the city’s busiest.
Meanwhile, children were seen playing football along Elekahia Road in Port Harcourt on Saturday as electoral activities unfolded elsewhere.
Voting was ongoing in Ward 11, Units 12 to 22, in Barako Community, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Distribution of election materials for the Chairmanship and Councillorship elections commenced early in many parts of the state.
At a registration centre in Elekahia, Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, scores of party agents were seen on Saturday morning alongside ad hoc personnel as materials were dispatched to polling units across the LGA as of 9 a.m.
