MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A tire struck the front windshield of an SUV driving on the Pennsylvania Turnpike on Monday, Sept. 15.
The crash occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. on I-476 south in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, State Police said in a crash report. A Dodge Ram was traveling north when its front driver-side wheel and tire detached.

Police said the wheel and tire “bounced” into the opposing southbound lane, striking the front windshield of a Land Rover.
Occupants were injured in the crash. However, police did not specify how many or the condition of their injuries.
