In preparation for the upcoming holiday season, Toys βRβ Us announced it will be opening more than 30 new stores across the U.S., including one in Illinois.
The new locations will include eight flagship stores and more than 20 temporary seasonal shops, according to the company.

Toys βRβ Us store opens in Illinois
The retailer opened a new permanent flagship store at the Chicago Premium Outlets, located at 1650 Premium Outlet Blvd in Aurora.
The new store, which was already open as of Oct. 16, operates from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sundays.

Is Toys βRβ Us still open? When did it come back?
Toys βRβ Us filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2017 and by 2018, announcing the closure ofΒ more than 700 storesΒ throughout the U.S. Though the company hasΒ attempted comebacksΒ under new ownership, none have proven successful.
More Toys βRβ Us stores to be announced soon
Toys βRβ Us said in its press release that more locations will be opened throughout the remainder of 2025. To keep up-to-date on these locations, the toy retailers encourages folks to follow them on social media.
