US approves potential sale of Javelin missiles-related equipment to Australia

(Reuters) -The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of Javelin Lightweight Command Launch Unit and related equipment to Australia for an estimated cost of $97.3 million, the Pentagon said on Tuesday.

The principal contractors for the sale will be the Javelin Joint Venture between RTX Corp and Lockheed Martin.
