Washington University sign damaged in overnight crash

ST. LOUIS – An investigation is underway after a driver crashed into a sign for Washington University along Forest Park Parkway overnight.

The crash occurred around 2 a.m. Saturday near Forest Park Parkway and Big Bend Boulevard.

St. Louis police and fire crews responded to the scene. Witnesses tell FOX 2 that the victims of the crash were rescued out of the car.

Investigators have not disclosed what led up to the crash, nor the extent of injuries to the victims.
