The North America Airport Satisfaction Study evaluated passenger satisfaction across mega, large and medium airports. All three of Ohio’s major airports are considered “medium,” each seeing 4.5 to 9.9 million passengers every year, per the study.

Is John Glenn Columbus International Airport better than Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport? Or does Cleveland Hopkins International Airport land on top? Here’s what the ranking shows.

Based on a 1,000-point scale, CVG scored 660 points, which was slightly above the average satisfaction score of 656 for medium airports.

The study examined travelers’ experiences across seven core dimensions (in order of importance) to determine the rankings:

  • Level of trust with the airport

  • Departure/to airport experience

  • Food, beverage and retail

  • Arrival/from airport experience
