With August starting, many students and parents in Oregon are probably wondering when it’s time to go back to or start school.
Here’s when the first day of school is for some public K-12 schools and universities in Oregon.
When does school start for Salem-Keizer Public Schools?
The first day of school for Salem-Keizer Public Schools is Sept. 2 for grades 6 and 9, Sept. 3 for grades 1-5, 7, 8, and 10-12. Kindergarten will begin on Sept. 10.
When does school start for Woodburn School District?
The first day of school for the Woodburn School District is Aug. 25.
When does school start for Silver Falls School District?
The first day of school for the Silver Falls School District is Sept. 2.
When does school start for the North Santiam School District?
The first day of school for grades K-9 is Sept. 2. The first day of school for grades 10-12 is Sept. 3.
When does school start for Cascade School District?
The first day of school for grades 1-9 is Sept. 2. The first day of school for grades 10-12 is Sept. 3. The first day of school for kindergarten is Sept. 8.
When does school start for Central School District 13J?
The first day of school for grades K-5, 6 and 9 is Sept. 3. The first day of school for grades 7-8 and 10-12 is Sept. 4.
When does school start for Dallas School District?
The first day of school for grades 6 and 9 is Sept. 2. The first day of school for all other grades is Sept. 3.
When does school start for Portland Public Schools?
The first day of school for Portland Public Schools is Aug. 26. Kindergarten will begin on Sept. 2, and prekindergarten will begin on Sept. 4.
When does school start for Bend-La Pine Schools?
The first day of school for Bend-La Pine Schools is Sept. 4 for grades 1-6 and 9, and Sept. 4 for grades 7, 8, and 10-12. Kindergarten will begin Sept. 5.
When does school start for Eugene School District 4J?
The first day of school for the Eugene School District 4J is Sept. 3 for grades 6 and 9, and Sept. 4 for all other grades.
When does school start for Bethel School District?
Bethel School District’s first day of school is Sept. 2 for grades K-9. For grades 10-12, the first day is Sept. 3.
When does school start for Springfield Public Schools?
The first day of school for Springfield Public Schools is Sept. 3 for grades 1-6, 9, and half of kindergarten. The other half of kindergarten and all other grades start on Sept. 4.
When does school start for Medford School District?
The first day of school for the Medford School District is Aug. 25 for grades 1-6 and 9 and Aug. 26 for grades 7, 8, and 10-12. Kindergarten soft start will be Aug. 25-28, and full days begin Sept. 2.
