When will it rain next in Delaware?
The National Weather Service doesn’t forecast more than seven days because weather systems can change dramatically.
AccuWeather.com does have a long-range forecast, and the next rainfall for the First State is predicted for Sept. 25 with a 75% chance of showers. The showers will begin a six-day run of wet weather with at least a 50% chance of rain each day.
However, while you can track a storm and produce models for the storm, each model is different, and several variables come into play in determining if an area will get precipitation.
The rule of thumb is to take any forecast more than three days out with a grain of salt and know things can change.
