In Alexandria, the first frost typically occurs around Nov. 20. Alexandria’s earliest recorded frost was on Oct. 19, 2011 and the latest recorded frost was on Dec. 29, 1986, according to NWS weather data.
The last frost in Alexandria occurs, on average, around March 1. The earliest recorded last frost in the city was on Jan. 9, 2017, while the latest recorded frost was on April 13, 1940, according to the NWS.
When can Lafayette, Louisiana expect the first frost?

The last frost in Lafayette usually occurs around Feb. 17. The earliest recorded last frost in Lafayette was on Jan. 13, 1990, while the latest recorded last frost was on March 14, 1993, according to the NWS.
