Oregon’s changing leaves are not only signs that autumn is quickly approaching, but that annual celebrations and seasonal festivals are also on the way.
Fall festivals are a way to celebrate the season and bring communities together by hosting a number of fall activities, local vendors and seasonal foods.
Here is a roundup of some upcoming fall festivals in Oregon.
Oregon Coast fall festivals
Lincoln City Fall Kite Festival
The Lincoln City Fall Kite Festival is a longtime kite flying festival along the Oregon Coast. The event hosts visitors of all ages as they participate in flying hundreds of colorful and unique kites.

Sunset Bay Astronomy Festival
The Sunset Bay Astronomy Festival near Coos Bay features three days of celebrating night skies with star watch parties, guided hikes, kid-friendly activities, night-sky photography, star navigating education and more.

Yachats Mushroom Festival

Albany Mushroom Festival
Albany Mushroom Festival will be holding its second year of celebrating mushrooms. The event offers visitors a chance to learn about mushrooms while enjoying live music, local vendors and fun activities for all ages.

Corvallis Fall Festival
The annual Corvallis Fall Festival has been happening for more than 50 years. It offers live music, an art show, food and drink vendors, more than 150 artisan booths, a fall festival fun run and a Saturday night street dance.

Eugene-area fall festival
Mount Pisgah Mushroom Festival
The Mount Pisgah Mushroom Festival in Eugene is a fall festival celebrating all things mushroom. The festival takes place at the Mount Pisgah Arboretum and teaches people about more than 300 species of local mushrooms. Visitors can also enjoy live music, hay rides, and guided nature walks.

Central Oregon fall festivals
Bend Fall Festival
The Bend Fall Festival is an annual central Oregon festival that features live music, kids’ activities, more than 80 artisan booths, food vendors, interactive art exhibits, and live demonstrations of printmaking and blacksmithing. The festival will also host a number of local breweries offering craft beers and ciders.

Sisters Folk Festival
The Sisters Folk Festival is an annual festival with the theme “All The Town’s A Stage.” The small central Oregon town sets up seven stages to host live music and more than 30 artists from around the world. The event is described as an intimate, multi-genre festival that dates back nearly 30 years.

The West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta in Tualatin is a more than 20-year-old tradition that sees rowers race against each other across Lake of the Commons in giant pumpkins. The popular event welcomes thousands of visitors every year who come to watch the pumpkin races while enjoying hot cider and local vendors.

Klamath Basin Potato Festival
The annual Klamath Basin Potato Festival will be celebrating its 88th year of all things potatoes and the history of Merrill. The southern Oregon potato festival will feature a grand parade, talent show, raffle, local vendors, artisan booths, exhibits, music, beer garden, potato peeling and a tater trot.
