A nor’easter that made its way up the eastern U.S. Sunday brought wind and rain across Connecticut overnight and into Monday, taking down trees and branches and knocking out power to thousands of residents.
The storm and related damage has resulted in some road closures. The state Department of Transportation’s traffic monitoring site, CT Roads, reported a handful of closures Monday morning, particularly in the rural hills of northwestern Connecticut.
