A woman was critically injured outside a middle school after an accident involving two school buses in Newark, Delaware.
Emergency crews responded to the unit block of Gender Road at Gauger Cobbs Middle School around 7 a.m. after a report that a school bus driver was pinned between two buses.
When they arrived, they found a woman lying on the ground, unresponsive. She then went into cardiac arrest.
She was taken to Christiana Hospital.

The emergency exit door on one of the buses appeared to be damaged.
Delaware State police are investigating.
